Crossing the Purple Mountain Grand Canyon

Through the links recommended by my friends, I first learned that there is a grand canyon in Purple Mountain. Full of curiosity, I arranged my weekend trip in advance and planned to participate in the activities of crossing the Grand Canyon organized by Nanjing Outdoor Volunteers Union on Saturday. It rained heavily in Nanjing the day before departure. Seeing that the group owner said that tomorrow's activities will be rain or shine, I decided to let go of my worries, get up early on Saturday and go happily.

A large number of people line up from the upper reaches of the wet canyon with uneven gravel under their feet, so they need to be very careful to avoid slipping or spraining; Overhead are dense and tall green trees, which cover the sky and make the canyon extremely humid and cool; Withered trunks covered with moss can be seen everywhere on both sides of the road, and some trunks are covered with mushrooms and fungi.

The three handsome captains have their own division of labor. Weed is the head of the team and is responsible for leading the team forward. Brother Dan is responsible for coordination within the team, and San Mao is responsible for closing the team to protect the safety of the small partners at the end of the team. I thought my physical strength was ok, so I followed closely in the middle of the line and occasionally stopped to take pictures. This large group of people had the momentum of "The King told me to patrol the mountains", which was spectacular.

After going upstream, I walked a flat road, and then I began to climb the steep slope wild road. I think this journey is the most abusive. The slope is steep and the road is wet. I take every step carefully for fear of slipping and falling down the mountain. Although there are many stone trees on the roadside, which seem to be used as handrails, when you look closely, there are basically long, black and soft bugs crawling, which makes me so scared that I have to pull my hand back. I didn't dare to use external force all the way, so I had to use all my strength to climb up, wiping my sweat while climbing. By the time I climbed halfway, the sweat had soaked the whole handkerchief.

After climbing for more than 40 minutes, I finally reached the Toutuoling Park Park scenic spot at the top of the mountain. I can't remember the last time I climbed the top of Zijin Mountain. When I came here this time, the Peak Park was completely changed. The newly-built cableway platform and observation deck have broadened people's horizons. Looking around at the top of the mountain, you can have a bird's eye view of many landmarks and scenic spots in Nanjing, which is quite refreshing.

We rested in Toutuoling Park Park for a long time, and we didn't go down to Xiazi Lake until the troops and friends arrived. After a short walk, the team leader led us through a mountain road and a narrow jungle, and finally arrived at the destination of this activity-Xiazi Lake at around noon 12: 30.

This is my second visit to Xiazi Lake this year. In late summer and early autumn, the lake is clear. There are many swimmers swimming, playing cards on the shore and resting in hammocks. It is a quiet, peaceful and pleasant scenery. There is such a beautiful and quiet lake deep in the mountains, which is definitely the special favor of nature. Our group had lunch by the lake, chatted and took photos, completely relaxed and enjoyed the lakes and mountains.

The light rain turned to heavy rain along the way, which seriously affected the interest in continuing to view the scenery. When we passed Shi Xiang Road and ming tomb, we all hurried past and rushed to the subway station in the rain. Fortunately, I prepared an umbrella in advance to shelter my other little sister from the rain. We rushed to the subway station together, which ended the outdoor trip perfectly.

? This outdoor activity is more intense than my usual exercise. Because I recently joined a completely strange team, I was always not very active. I walked almost alone, drowned in the crowd and had little communication with my peers. Fortunately, I seem to be used to loneliness. I climb mountains with my team and enjoy the scenery all the way. I don't feel lonely.
