Regulations on the control of guns in police stations

In order to strengthen the management of official guns in public security organs and ensure that the people's police of public security organs correctly use official guns to perform their duties according to law, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China, the Gun Control Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and other relevant laws and regulations. Guns equipped by the People's Armed Police Force listed in the sequence of public security organs shall be managed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the People's Armed Police Force.

The people's police shall meet the following conditions when wearing and using guns:

(1) Abide by the provisions of the Gun Control Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), be politically reliable, be responsible for work, abide by the law, be in good health, have good psychological quality, and have no drinking habits;

(2) Having received special training, mastering the performance, use and maintenance regulations of firearms, and passing the annual examination of shooting and maintenance skills;

(3) Familiar with laws and regulations such as the Gun Control Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Regulations on the Use of Police Equipment and Weapons in People's Republic of China (PRC);

(4) Having no record of punishment for violating laws and regulations on gun control;

(5) Participate in public security work for more than one year.

Two, the people's police who wear and use guns must abide by the following provisions:

(1) It is forbidden to carry or use guns in non-police activities;

(2) To carry a gun, you must also carry the Certificate of Holding a Gun for Official Use in People's Republic of China (PRC), and the gun type and number of the gun you carry must be consistent with the contents registered on the gun certificate;

(3) It is forbidden to carry guns in areas and places designated by the public security organs of people's governments at or above the municipal level with districts. When it is really necessary to carry guns through the above-mentioned areas and places because of work, the guns shall be handed over to the public security management department of the local public security organ or the public security police station for safekeeping and handling the formalities for safekeeping. The public security management departments of public security organs at all levels or police stations shall promptly accept the custody of guns, and shall not entrust custody to ensure the safety of guns.

(4) drinking alcohol without guns;

(1 1) If a gun is lost, stolen, robbed or has other accidents, it must be reported to the local public security organ and the unit where it belongs immediately;

(12) Accept the inspection and annual verification by the competent department of firearms;

(13) Relevant provisions of other laws and regulations.
