Source: The fifth part of the group poem "Ten Poems of the Emperor Traveling to Nanjing on the West" by Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty.
Excerpt from the original text: tomorrow, the stone path will be more, and the moth will kiss in the harem last month.
The stone mirrors and bright treasures of Shu can be compared with the bright moon in the sky, and the mourning princess in the harem can reflect beautiful shadows.
Extended data
In the Anshi Rebellion, Li Bai created two groups of seven wonders with similar themes: Song of Yong Wang and Song of Westward Journey to Nanjing.
A visit to Wang Dongge is an ode, but the meaning of Song of Westward Journey to Nanjing has always been controversial. There are two main views: one is that it is an ode, which is intended to be happy for the return of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and the improvement of the national situation; On the other hand, this is basically a satire on Tang Xuanzong's escapism, which seems to be a compliment, but it is ironic.
Ode theory
The Emperor's Journey to Nanjing's Western Songs is a group of epic poems produced under the specific historical background and the poet's specific situation. The main points of these poems are as follows: 1. Celebrate the emperor's two visits to Nanjing with the joy of victory; Second, strive to spread the beauty of Chengdu and show the comfort of "settling down"; Third, flaunt the glory brought to Sichuan by the emperor's voyage to the West.
The Journey to the West wrote it when the whole country was celebrating, but the poet himself was in danger. The so-called "specific historical background" and "the poet's specific situation" refer to this. The Journey to the West praised Song for Xuanzong. Although Li Bai once resented Xuanzong, at the same time, he was attached to Xuanzong.
Because his unjust imprisonment was caused by Su Zong, he pinned his hopes on Xuanzong, so the last sentence of the poem is "hanging the sun and moon to shine on Kun". "Wandering Yelang Listening to the Cape" and "Song of the Emperor Traveling to Nanjing" were written at the same time, both of which were aimed at Su Zong and had inexplicable grief and indignation. The two poems had different meanings.
ferreous
During the Anshi Rebellion, the country was in jeopardy, and Li Bai was unfortunately caught in the whirlpool of civil war. He always used irony to regard Xuanzong's "voyage to the West" as a superficial "great event", and there was no criticism on the surface. In fact, he expressed his indignation at Xuanzong's shameful behavior of abandoning the country, and his words hit the nail on the head.
