Ceng Daozhong likes calligraphy since he was a child. Poor at the age of four, he began to dip his pen in water and draw points and lines in his mind on the wall and on the ground. He saw the vigorous and beautiful Chinese characters on the ancestral hall door, and imitated them with charcoal on the ground.
