5. Apply for a discount card online

1) To apply for a discount card online, users need to log in first. If there is no personal account, please register first. After logging in, enter the government service window of the Department of Veterans Affairs and click "Service Hall".

2) If the face has not been verified on the national government service platform, enter the "real name level upgrade" page. Download the national government service platform APP according to the page prompts, and use the "sweep" function of the APP to complete face verification.

3) After the verification is completed, enter the "Service Hall" and click "Online application for discount card-Enter the system".

4) Enter the online application page of the discount card and select the corresponding information according to your actual situation.

I. Scope of the applicant

China people and other special care recipients in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), such as eligible veterans and survivors of martyrs, survivors of soldiers who died in the line of duty, survivors of deceased soldiers, etc. Details are as follows:

(1) Officers, non-commissioned officers and conscripts of the China People's Liberation Army discharged from active service according to law;

(2) Officers, police officers and conscripts of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force who have been discharged from active service according to law;

(3) Spouses, parents (caregivers) and children of martyrs and soldiers who died in the line of duty, and brothers and sisters who undertake the obligation of support.

Second, the types of discount cards.

Concession cards are divided into "ex-servicemen's concession card" and "martyr's concession card, soldier who died in the line of duty and survivor's concession card". If you meet the conditions for applying for two discount cards at the same time, you can choose to apply for one of them according to your wishes. Objects with dual or multiple identities can enjoy corresponding preferential services according to regulations after their relevant identity information is written into the chip of the discount card.

Third, the application method of discount card

Applicants can make online and offline reservation applications through the government service items (APP, WeChat applet and Alipay applet) of "Concession Card Application" on "With Application", mainly in the following three ways:

(1) Online application

The applicant submits the application after completing the information and uploading the attachment through "with the application". Prepare recent color electronic photos (specification: JPG format, size 20K—50K, specification: 352 pixels *440 pixels, resolution: 300DPI, head accounting for 2/3 of the photo size, eyes looking straight at the lens, portrait clear and horizontally centered in the photo frame, no obvious distortion, no uniform photos), ID card and the first page of the household registration book in advance.

(2) On-site application for appointment

Make an appointment for on-site application time through "with the bid", and bring relevant materials to the street (township) veterans service station to apply at the appointed time.

(3) Family Handling-Appointment

Applicants who meet the following conditions, themselves and their family members can apply for home appointment through "with the bid":

1.80 years old or above;

2. One to four disabled soldiers, one to two social disabled people, and one to four work-related injuries;

3. Persons with mobility difficulties due to pregnancy, serious illness, inability to take care of themselves and long-term bed rest;

4. Persons without or with limited capacity for civil conduct.
