An operator is a staff member who works in a call center and answers the phone.

The operator is mainly responsible for answering customers' calls, solving related business problems, and engaging in the work of various call stations, such as long-distance traffic, international traffic, directory assistance, wireless paging, information service, private branch exchange and business inquiry on the processor.
