1. What is shallow reading?

2. Survey results and analysis

1. Reading awareness is generally high. According to the survey results, 47.6% of students think reading is an interesting thing, and 35.29% of students think they like reading. However, only 17.65% and 1.96% of students do not like reading very much and do not like reading very much. This shows that the vast majority of students generally have a high level of awareness of the importance of reading.

2. Less time for reading. Only 5.88% of students read for more than 3 hours a day, 54.90% read for 1-3 hours, 29.41% read for more than 1 hour, and 9.80% of students basically do not read.

3. The average monthly reading volume is small. Only 1.96% of students read an average of more than 5 books per month, and 5.88% read 3-5 books. Most students read an average of 1-3 books per month, which shows that college students read very little. of.

4. From the perspective of reading orientation and reading interests, the reading interests of students in our college are individualized and diverse, covering an extremely wide range and variety. They often choose according to their personal interests. Choose extracurricular books to read. Fashion magazines, biographies and popular novels are the most important extracurricular reading interests of college students in our college. This is related to the characteristics and advantages of these types of books. In addition to intense and boring professional studies, college students hope to read some high-quality leisure and entertainment books, and the above types of books can also improve students' various aspects of accomplishment. Among them, it is worth noting that students in our college are not very enthusiastic about reading famous works and classic books (only 28.4%).

5. The reading media of college students in our college shows a trend of diversification. It is not limited to traditional paper media. 3. Reasons for shallow reading.

The current demand for talents in society is professional knowledge-based. Coupled with the globalization of the international economy, we have to spend a lot of effort on foreign languages. Faced with the severe employment situation, many college students are busy preparing for various certificate examinations to increase their competitiveness. Under the influence of a series of practical factors, how can we still find time to read "classics" with peace of mind?

4. The harm caused by shallow reading.

5. How to get out of the dilemma of shallow reading?
