According to the spirit of the Second Plenary Session of the 12th District Committee and the regional conference on promoting urban-rural integration, Xintang Street in Xiaoshan District has earnestly implemented the construction of urban-rural integration. With the strong support of the district Committee and government and the guidance and help of the urban-rural integration construction office, the construction of urban-rural integration has proceeded smoothly.

First, the basic situation of the street. Xintang Street has a total population of 47,600, covering an area of 35 square kilometers, 37 administrative villages and 5 communities. The large population, large area and scattered villages put forward higher requirements and increased difficulties for urban-rural integration. In view of this situation, the Party Working Committee and Xintang Sub-district Office held team meetings, office staff meetings, village committees, and leadership meetings of enterprises and institutions in time to make great efforts to implement them. Second, plan the layout. According to the requirements of the district party committee and the district government, Xintang Street set up a leading group for urban-rural integration construction, an office and a village-level full-time working group in time. Through investigation, find out the base number, go out (leading cadres and village cadres visit Xihu District and Binjiang District on the spot) and sit down (sit down to discuss and solicit opinions), and do it in time according to the planning idea of people-oriented, convenient nearby and appropriate gathering. Third, the work carried out. As a pilot block of Xintang Street, Yaojiang 'an Block started construction of 300 mu of land in the first phase, and settled in four administrative villages, namely Yaojiang 'an, Lvcaizhuang, Wangyoushi and Zengjiaqiao, with a population of 1 182 households and 4363 people. Now the project has been approved by the District Development Planning Bureau, the District Construction Bureau has selected the site and reported it to the Land and Resources Bureau for approval, and the design scheme has been completed. At the same time, the initial start-up funds were implemented, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of urban-rural integration construction in Xintang Street.
