Matou Village, named after Matou Guzhai Formation in the village, is the main tourist attraction in Kaiyang County.

Matouzhai is located 58 kilometers northeast of Guiyang. The stockade faces the Datian Dam in Diwo, with its back against Baihua Mountain and its banks surrounded by water.
