Chongqing Zhong County holds China Citrus Culture Festival? Visitors are invited to enjoy the Three Gorges Orange Sea

Appreciate the wonders of citrus "with flowers and fruits on the same tree", and see the majestic appearance of Shibaozhai, a magical "bonsai" on the water.

From April 17th to 20th, Zhongxian County, Chongqing, known as China’s Citrus City, will hold the China Citrus Culture Festival, inviting tourists to visit the Three Gorges Orange Sea.

According to reports, Zhongxian County, Chongqing has the only well-preserved "half-city style" of immigrants in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, and is considered a "natural museum" that reflects the culture of the Three Gorges immigrants.

At present, the county has built the country’s largest factory-based citrus virus-free container nursery base and the first NFC orange juice processing line in the Asia-Pacific region; a total of 180,000 acres of citrus base orchards have been built, benefiting nearly 140,000 local fruit farmers.

The county launched the first independent juice brand "Paris NFC Orange Juice" in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, which is favored by many overseas companies in Japan, the United States, Switzerland, Hong Kong and other places.

In November last year, the China Fruit Distribution Association named Zhongxian County the "Citrus City of China".

During the China Citrus Culture Festival, the opening ceremony of the new Shibaozhai in Zhongxian County, the opening ceremony of the China Citrus Culture Festival and the large-scale theatrical performance of "Spring Rhythm of Orange City", and the music of "Half the City is Full of Oranges" Activities such as poetry recitals, citrus and tourism summit forums, and investment signing ceremonies will be staged one after another.

It is understood that many famous reciters such as Chen Duo and Tong Zirong will appear at the "Half the City is Full of Oranges" music and poetry recital to recite poems in ode to oranges.

Zhongxian County Magistrate Liu Guizhong said that Shibaozhai in Zhongxian County, which has been closed for three years due to conservation project construction, will also welcome guests again on April 17.

After the Three Gorges Project implemented water impoundment, in order to protect Shibaozhai, a huge dike was built around it, forming a huge "stone basin."

Surrounded by the "stone basin" "The new Shibaozhai in "Shibaozhai" is surrounded by water. From a distance, it looks like a huge bonsai placed in the Yangtze River. Shibaozhai will be the world's largest river "bonsai".
