Which province is Fengxian from?

Fengxian District belongs to Shanghai. Fengxian District is located in the south of Shanghai, at the southeast end of the Yangtze River Delta, bordering Pudong New Area in the east, Jinshan District and Songjiang District in the west, Hangzhou Bay in the south and Minhang District across the Huangpu River in the north.

According to legend, Yan Yan, a disciple of Confucius, returned to his hometown to give lectures in his later years, and his last stop was Fengxian, a place deeply respected by local people. When Fengxian County was established in the fourth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, it was named "Fengxian" to commemorate this sage, which means "respecting sages".

Fengxian was inhabited by human beings about 4000 years ago and has a long history. Famous historical figures include Wei Jing and Li.
