Cangnan Wayaogang Tunnel is perfectly connected!

This is the fourth tunnel after Daqiutian Tunnel, Beishan Tunnel and Chengmen Tunnel. So far, only four tunnels are under construction in the section from Longsha to Dailing of National Highway 228, laying a solid foundation for the goal of opening the whole line to traffic in August 2023.

Wayaogang Tunnel is located at the hillside from the exit of Longsha Expressway in Shitang Village, Chixi Town to Shapo Village. The four-lane separation design is adopted, with the total length of the left tunnel1096m and the total length of the right tunnel1120m, and the design speed is 80km/h.. Since the construction started, with the strong support of the county party committee and county government, Cangnan County Transportation Bureau, Cangnan No.4 Navigation Construction Co., Ltd. and Chixi Town People's Government, and the joint efforts of CCCC No.4 Navigation Bureau project team, after 465,438+065,438+0 days of construction, the goal of connecting the left tunnel nodes was completed 65,438+07 days ahead of schedule.

After the completion of this project, it will further improve the north-south transportation network along the eastern coast of Cangnan County, help to expand the economic hinterland of the local coastal port area, promote the development of coastal economy, society and tourism, and contribute to the high-quality construction of Cangnan as the "beautiful south gate of Zhejiang" in the new period.
