What kind of losses have you suffered when shopping for two-dimensional things online?

The biggest pitfall I have ever encountered is that the figures I purchased overseas turned out to be domestic pirated ones. I bought cos clothing, but the quality was too poor and the picture showed much difference. I don’t buy many two-dimensional things, just twice, but I was fooled both times. I don’t know if it’s just bad luck that makes me really afraid to buy these things online now.

There should be many anime lovers who have bought peripheral products of their favorite anime online at one time or another. Otherwise, we fans can really make money. Of course, we are all willing to buy genuine copies of our favorite characters, not to mention the high price, and due to channels, it is often easy to buy pirated copies.

I personally like "My Hero Academia" very much. One day after watching the anime, I really wanted to buy a Midoriya figure. Since I had no experience, I searched online. The other thing is to buy cos clothing. Once I was encouraged by a friend to wear cos clothing to participate in a comic exhibition. So I bought a Kurosaki Ichigo cosplay costume online. Including the props, I spent hundreds of dollars a day, but when the things arrived, my heart dropped. Poor quality, weird colors, wrong size. I'm totally embarrassed to wear it out.
