Did you know? In 2011, the 26th Summer Universiade will be held in Shenzhen. This is a great event in the history of Shenzhen.

The World University Games is an international comprehensive sports event organized by the International University Sports Federation. It is held every two years. Its scale is second only to the Olympic Games. It is known as the "Little Olympics". For summer games and winter games.

Another report came from CCTV, which reported that chewing gum residues could be seen everywhere in Tiananmen Square after the National Day. There were actually 600,000 pieces of chewing gum residue in the 400,000-square-meter Tiananmen Square.

In some places, there were nine pieces of chewing gum stains on the ground less than one square meter. The dense stains formed a strong contrast with the sanctity and solemnity of Tiananmen Square.

There are many similar reports, which makes us Chinese very embarrassed.

Civilization is actually made up of details, which is reflected in every word and deed in our daily life. Reflecting on what we have done, we will find that civilization is still some distance away from us. Around us, among some students, there are still some uncivilized behaviors.

For example, in our campus and on the stairs, we can always see scraps of paper that are extremely discordant with our beautiful campus; some students chase and fight in the corridors of the teaching building, and push and push each other while walking. There are also some students who swear and use foul language, climb branches at will, and even some students deliberately damage the school's public property.

I hope that students who have these uncivilized behaviors can pay attention to correcting them. Let us work hard on our own words and deeds to say goodbye to uncivilized phenomena. Listen carefully in class, respect the teacher's work, and write everything as well as possible. The 26th World Universiade in 2011 will be held in Shenzhen. As a primary school student in the special zone, how much do we know about the Shenzhen Universiade? I searched online and got some understanding of the Shenzhen Universiade, and I would like to share it with you.

The Shenzhen Universiade will be held from August 12 to August 22, 2011. The main competition venue is the Longgang Universiade Center Stadium, as well as branch venues such as Sports New City, Shenzhen Stadium, and Luohu Stadium. This Games will include 24 major events and 302 minor events, including track and field, swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo, etc. The number of competition events and the total number of gold medals will set a record for the Universiade.

The emblem of the Shenzhen Universiade is a happy U, which is composed of five colors of red, yellow, blue, green and black dots freely arranged in a U shape. The mascot of the Shenzhen Universiade is UU, which is a smiling face evolved from the happy U in the emblem. It also has the shape of the initial U of Universiade. UU breaks the design of the animal shape of the Universiade mascot. Traditionally, it shows the blood relationship with the happy U in the Universiade emblem. They have the same appearance and temperament. UU has a happy, naughty and sweet image. Sports competitions are full of intense atmosphere, and UU just plays a role in regulating the atmosphere. The symbol of Shenzhen Universiade volunteers is Window to the World - dedicated to embracing the world, and the slogan is I am here. It is the three letters VUS, composed of the initials of Volunteer, Universiade, and Shenzhen. It conveys the enthusiastic dedication and sincere spirit of volunteers. The colors come from the color system of the Universiade, red, yellow, and blue, which represent respectively Youth, vitality, warmth, hope and passion. Although my slogan here is simple, it fully demonstrates the connotation of volunteers' ubiquitous and enthusiastic service, and reflects the volunteers' sense of pride and responsibility.

The Shenzhen Universiade will be held in more than a year. When the Universiade opens, tens of thousands of college students from all over the world will gather in Shenzhen. Shenzhen will become a holy place for young people from all over the world to gather.
