Introduction to Qingdao Municipal People’s Procuratorate

The Qingdao Municipal Procuratorate, under the leadership of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and the superior procuratorate, and under the supervision of the Qingdao Municipal People’s Congress, the support of the Qingdao Municipal Government, and the democratic supervision of the Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference, faithfully performs its legal supervision duties , adhering to the procuratorial purpose of “establishing prosecutors for the public and enforcing the law for the people” and closely focusing on the theme requirements of “strengthening legal supervision and safeguarding fairness and justice”, all work has achieved new developments and improvements. We persisted in emancipating our minds, reforming and innovating, and carried out in-depth activities of “Building a Motor Vehicle Collective”. Based on Qingdao’s actual conditions, we conducted many useful attempts and explorations. In May 2008, the Municipal Court started to strengthen internal supervision and constraints and improve its own management level, reformed its working mechanism, established and improved the case management center, occupational crime investigation command center, government affairs management center, information center and agency service center. The "Five Centers" have developed a software management platform and implemented open offices, networked operations, standardized management, and full-process supervision, which have played an important role in improving the quality and level of case handling, promoting the integration of investigation work, and changing the traditional management model of the agency. In 2007 and 2008, he was awarded first-class collective merit by the Provincial Academy for two consecutive years, and was awarded the Outstanding Unit in the city's target performance appraisal for two consecutive years. The 12 grassroots procuratorates under its jurisdiction have all entered the ranks of "advanced grassroots procuratorates". Among them, the Shinan District Court was rated as the National Advanced Grassroots Procuratorate and the National Grassroots Standardized Construction Demonstration Court by the High People's Procuratorate. The Shinan District Court was awarded the national "Civilized Unit" "title.
