How to strengthen the publicity of rural meteorological science knowledge in the new era

The "Three Rural Issues" have received more and more attention from the State Council and provincial, municipal and county governments. Serving the rural areas, improving agricultural meteorological disaster prevention and reduction capabilities, and promoting farmers to increase production and income are our meteorological workers. One of the main tasks is also the service concept requirement of the "three weathers". How to strengthen the publicity of rural meteorological science knowledge in the new era and improve farmers' prevention awareness should be considered from the following: (1) Strengthen the management and investment in meteorological science popularization work and establish a high-quality full-time and part-time team. (2) Actively seek the support of local departments to establish an agricultural meteorological comprehensive service demonstration county with "government-led support, effective linkage of departments, and joint participation of towns and villages", and gradually form a new pattern of rural meteorological science popularization. (3) Strengthen cooperation with the media, fully tap publicity potential, improve the form and content of science popularization, and constantly explore new ideas, new ways, and new methods for meteorological science popularization work.
