Highway mileage marking standard

The national highway speed limit standard is that the maximum speed should not exceed120km and the minimum speed should not be less than 60km.

The Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that:

Article 67 Pedestrians, non-motor vehicles, tractors, wheeled special-purpose mechanical vehicles, articulated buses, all-trailer trucks and other motor vehicles with a designed maximum speed of less than 70 kilometers per hour are not allowed to enter the expressway. The maximum speed indicated by the speed limit sign on the expressway shall not exceed120km.

The Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that:

Article 78 An expressway shall indicate the driving speed of the lane. The maximum speed shall not exceed1.20km per hour, and the minimum speed shall not be less than 60km per hour.

The maximum speed of passenger cars driving on expressways shall not exceed120km, other motor vehicles shall not exceed100km and motorcycles shall not exceed 80km.

If there are two lanes in the same direction, the minimum speed of the left lane is per hour 100 km; If there are more than three lanes in the same direction, the minimum speed of the leftmost lane is110km per hour, and the minimum speed of the middle lane is 90km per hour. If the speed indicated by the road speed limit sign is inconsistent with the lane speed mentioned above, drive at the speed indicated by the road speed limit sign.
