In June 2005, with the active advocacy and efforts of Li Shaolin, Maanshan City Blood Donation Association was formally established. He led the association to actively carry out its work: first, to assist blood stations to pay a return visit to unpaid blood donors and recruit a large number of volunteers through return visits; The second is to carry out service publicity on the street to spread blood knowledge to the public. Due to its fruitful work, the association won the advanced collective recognition of the National Award for Promoting Voluntary Blood Donation. Driven by him, his wife also donated more than 9800 ml of blood and was commended by the National Gold Medal. His son also participated in blood donation regularly during his college years, and many comrades-in-arms also joined the ranks of unpaid blood donation.

Over the years, Li Shaolin and members of the Association have carried out a series of public welfare activities focusing on blood donation: in September 20 10, the Association went to Shanghai to carry out the blood donation part of the "Expo Love Journey", and in October/kloc-0 10/0, the publicity activities on the theme of "Red Cross donating blood with the Asian Games" were carried out. He participated in the voluntary tree planting activities of Arbor Day every year and contributed to the association's proposal to create a memorial forest for blood donation volunteers.

Since its establishment seven years ago, Maanshan Red Cross Volunteers Association has successively won the title of Advanced Collective of Moral Model Creation in Maanshan, Advanced Collective of Jianghuai Volunteers and Advanced Collective of Red Cross Society in Maanshan. At the same time, the association also won the top ten charity service brands in Maanshan City. He himself also participated in the donation of organs and remains. In Li Shaolin's own words, "even if a person is covered in iron, he can't hit a few nails, and everyone collects firewood with a high flame."
