What does Asian American mean?

Asian Chinese refer to Chinese from other countries except China, such as Thai Chinese, Malaysian Chinese and Indonesian Chinese, all of whom are Asian Chinese.

Chinese-Americans refer to China people with American citizenship or Americans with China ancestry. Chinese Americans are part of the global Chinese community.

Other stereotyped occupations include restaurant waiter, martial arts coach, faith therapist, laundryman, underworld and prostitute. This technique distorts the fact that Asians are engaged in a variety of industries in the United States.

2. Asians are white people's supporting roles.

Asians rarely lead white people into leading roles. Even in Asian movies, the main characters are mostly white.

Asian women are stereotyped.

Asian women have two extremes on the screen: exotic, obedient, hardworking and easy to please "China Baby"; Or a "dragon lady" who bites people at any time.
