How to eliminate arc flash after welding?

1) It is strictly forbidden to look directly into the arc. No operator, auxiliary worker or surrounding personnel should look directly into the arc. Operators and auxiliary workers should wear masks or glasses with special color filter glass. Goggles are divided into various grades according to their light transmission properties. Welding goggles are currently divided into sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, with small light colors and large dark colors.

2) Pay attention to skin protection. When engaging in welding work, wear welder-specific work clothes, work shoes and work gloves. Work clothes should be white and have certain heat-proof properties to prevent arc light from shining directly on human skin and welding spatter falling on the human body, causing burns and scalds.

3) When conditions permit, screens or baffles should be installed at the work site to prevent arc light from radiating and endangering others.

4) Welding workers should pay attention to proper rest of their eyes. When engaged in arc welding operations for a long time, they should rest their eyes intermittently. This is not only beneficial to the human body, but also ensures the quality of welding.
