Zhengzhou Yingtaogou Scenic Area is located in the south of Houzhai Township, Erqi District, with Yingtaogou as the center and stretching for15km. The mountains are rolling and the ravines are criss-crossing. The deep ditch is covered with lush cherry trees and the scenery is very pleasant. Cherry has been planted here for thousands of years. Due to the suitable climate, shelter from the wind in the ditch and special soil, the cherries produced are large and thick, rich in color and sweet in taste, which can supplement the middle and nourish the skin. Therefore, it enjoys a good reputation both inside and outside the province.

Zhengzhou Yingtaogou Scenic Area has a beautiful environment and fresh air. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is surrounded by mountains. Every March, it becomes a sea of cherry blossoms, with birds and flowers singing. At the end of April, the fruit is ripe. Up to now, there are still some ancient trees that have survived for more than 100 years, which bloom every year and bear fruit every year, becoming a big landscape. Since 1999, Sakura Valley Scenic Area has held the "Sakura Festival" every year. In recent years, * * * has received more than 800,000 tourists. The holding of the festival really turned the origin of cherry valley into a market and achieved good economic and social benefits. It not only completely solved the problem of farmers selling fruit, but also became a highlight of sightseeing agriculture in the suburbs of the provincial capital and a good opportunity and window to show the new image of Houzhai Township in Erqi District. 1999 Zhengzhou Cherry Valley Cherry was rated as one of the top ten historical famous products in Zhengzhou. In March, 2000, Yingtaogou Scenic Area was awarded the certificate of tourist attraction by the Municipal Tourism Bureau, and was identified as the key tourist attraction in Zhengzhou. Today, the planting area of cherry in Houzhai Township has reached more than 4,000 mu, with an annual output of more than 1 10,000 kg, and more than 20 new varieties, accounting for 70% of Zhengzhou City, in which the scientific and technological content has increased year by year, and the contribution rate of science and technology has reached 80%.
