There are two kinds of situations that affect the safety of mother and baby. One is that pregnant women suffer from cancer and cardiovascular diseases, and the other is obstetric causes, mainly including postpartum hemorrhage, amniotic fluid embolism, uterine rupture and placental abruption. In order to ensure the safety of mother and baby, the key is to improve the level of obstetrical professional and technical personnel, so that they can correctly diagnose and handle difficult and critical obstetrical patients, actively prevent postpartum hemorrhage and amniotic fluid embolism, especially improve the ability of grass-roots personnel to identify and handle high-risk pregnancy and obstetric first aid, ensure timely and correct diagnosis and treatment of high-risk pregnant women, and effectively reduce maternal mortality; Second, vigorously publicize the knowledge of health care during pregnancy, improve pregnant women's awareness of self-care, make them take the initiative to receive prenatal examination, understand abnormal symptoms and signs during pregnancy, so that they can seek medical treatment in time once they appear; Third, the management of high-risk pregnancy should be established, and there should be clear systems and requirements from the initial screening, review, registration management, monitoring and treatment of high-risk pregnant women, as well as the responsibilities and tasks of medical and health departments at all levels.
