Summary of comprehensive improvement of electric bicycle safety in XX Group

In order to effectively curb the frequent accidents of electric bicycles and safeguard the safety of people's lives and property, in accordance with the unified arrangements of the division and the Municipal Safety Committee on the comprehensive improvement of electric bicycles, the Communist Youth League Safety Committee has continuously carried out a major investigation on the hidden dangers of electric bicycles. The relevant information is hereby notified as follows:

First, strengthen supervision and compact responsibility.

In order to continuously and effectively promote the comprehensive improvement of electric vehicles, the Group and the company (community) set up a fire safety improvement team for electric bicycles, which clarified the responsibilities of the company, the community and relevant departments. The security reform team strengthened supervision and inspection, strengthened responsibility, conducted pressure at all levels, and made every effort to curb the occurrence of electric vehicle fire accidents.

Second, carry out joint law enforcement inspections.

Safety supervision departments, police stations and other departments have visited six electric bicycle sales points, maintenance points, residential quarters and companies many times to seriously investigate and deal with unqualified products and illegal charging behaviors. No unqualified products were found in the inspection, but the following situations existed in the use:

1. Strengthen the source rectification, inspect the fire protection, wiring and electric vehicle placement of six sales and maintenance shops, and carry out on-site rectification of existing hidden dangers.

2. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the residential areas in the jurisdiction, and organize to clean up the places where 16 electric bicycles are illegally parked and charged in public areas such as walkways, stairwells and safety exits in the building. Corrected 26 traffic violations such as illegally carrying people, not following traffic signals, installing umbrellas, and not wearing helmets to affect road traffic.

In March and July, the ownership and distribution of electric vehicles in residential buildings in various communities were investigated, and the use of electric vehicles by new employees was investigated in August.

Third, strengthen publicity.

Make full use of billboards, radio, electronic screens, WeChat official accounts and other forms of publicity, law enforcement officers go deep into residential areas, remind the masses of the dangers of illegal use of electric vehicles by telling stories about electric vehicle accidents, educate residents to drive electric vehicles in a civilized manner, abide by traffic safety rules, and prohibit storing electric bicycles in walkways, stairwells and basements of residential buildings for charging, connecting temporary wires to charge electric bicycles privately, and charging electric bicycles over time.

Fourth, the focus of the next step:

(1) Continue to play the role of "two members and two stations" of the regimental headquarters and mobile patrols of police stations, and strengthen the comprehensive management of electric bicycles.

(2) Continue to go deep into communities and companies, and do a good job in publicity and inspection of comprehensive management of electric bicycles.

(3) Carry out road traffic safety training for former employees and migrant workers of "Sanqiu" to enhance their awareness of road traffic safety.

(4) Strengthen contact with higher authorities and implement all kinds of electric vehicle certification as soon as possible.
