Dayugou Scenic Area is 370 kilometers away from the provincial capital Lanzhou in the north, 1 18 kilometers away from the state cooperation city in the west, and less than 200 kilometers away from Xiahe Labuleng Temple. Located on the northeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, in Zhuoni, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, the whole scenic spot is 40 kilometers long from east to west and 20 kilometers wide from north to south. There are abundant animal and plant resources here, with 80,000 hectares of forest vegetation covering the whole scenic spot.

Zhaikaga, the main peak of Dieshan Mountain in the scenic area, is 4920 meters above sea level, and the mouth of the ditch is 2500 meters above sea level. Organisms are vertically and orderly distributed, with bare rocks above the snow line of Dieshan Mountain, followed by alpine pastures, virgin forests, low mountain meadows, shrubs and crops.

Dayugou has nine tributaries, which are Sangbugou, Gilliao Xiaogou, Gilliao Dagou, Yantian Gully, Zhayatagou, Bashigou and Niezuogou in turn, and are distributed in the southeast of Dayugou in a fan shape.

The annual average temperature here is 4.6 degrees Celsius, the average temperature in July in the hottest month is 14.8 degrees Celsius, and the average temperature in Leng Yue in June is-7.6 degrees Celsius. "There is no heat in summer and no cold in winter"; There is still a gap between the scenery here and Jiuzhaigou, but as a place that has not been over-developed, if you travel in Gannan, you can still visit it when you have time. The scenery here has both barren and steep landforms on the plateau and beautiful scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. In particular, the plateau meadows set off by high mountains are like the scenery of the Alps, and there are resorts at the mouth of the ditch, which is a good place for tourism and leisure.
