The Significance of English Song Competition

Singing English songs is one of the five basic skills in English learning. Learning to sing English songs can not only stimulate students' interest in learning English, but also help them remember words better.

Beautiful melody enables students to better understand English intonation, linking and aphonia while experiencing the charm of music. The purpose of this activity is to provide a platform for children to express themselves, love speaking English and love English. The form of competition can also enhance students' collective sense of honor and establish a sense of accomplishment.

In order to further strengthen the English learning atmosphere on campus, create an English learning environment outside classroom English teaching for students, stimulate students' interest in English learning and improve their English level, the following activity plan is formulated.

Activity content:

1. The purpose of the competition is to entertain and educate, stimulate students' interest in learning English, enrich students' extracurricular cultural life and create a good campus cultural atmosphere.

2. Organizational form, annual team competition system, and the participating classes are divided into high, medium and low segments.
