Brief introduction of Nanping paper mill

Nanping Paper Mill is located on the Jianxi River, 3 kilometers east of Nanping City. It was the first construction project above designated size in Fujian Province during the "Fifth Five-Year Plan" period, and it was also the first large paper mill in Fujian Province at that time. The whole factory covers an area of 8 1 hectare with a building area of 280,000 square meters. Since the factory was put into production, it has also vigorously developed the papermaking raw material base. 1963 set up a self-operated forest farm of 9,500 mu with a forest stock of 66,700 cubic meters. 1967 started the linkage and cooperative afforestation between factories and villages, and a joint base of 200,000 mu has been built over the years. 1988 was approved by the State Council as a pilot reform of forestry-paper integration. In June of that year, Nanping Paper Mill Forestry Corporation was established, aiming at wood self-sufficiency, and constantly expanding the area of raw material base.
