"Foshan Electric Bicycle Management Regulations" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") clearly stipulates that electric bicycles used in our city should be registered and licensed. The specific registration requirements shall be subject to the Notice of Foshan Public Security Bureau on the Registration of Electric Bicycles issued by the Municipal Public Security Bureau. Electric bicycles that meet the national standards and obtain 3C compulsory certification can be used in this city after registration; Transitional management will be implemented for the stock of electric bicycles that do not meet the new national standard.

According to the current national laws and policies, electric bicycles that meet the national standards and have obtained 3C compulsory certification are non-motor vehicles, and driving electric bicycles does not require a driver's license.

Should electric bicycles be insured? Is the insurance premium high?

Can't an electric bicycle carry people?

Article 37 of Guangdong Road Traffic Safety Regulations stipulates that bicycles and electric bicycles are not allowed to carry people on urban roads, but those equipped with fixed safety seats can carry a child whose height is less than 1.2 meters. Villagers' committees and residents' committees shall determine fire safety managers, organize owners or property users to conduct self-management of fire safety, formulate fire safety systems and conduct fire safety inspections.
