At work, I found that the common shortcomings of boys are absenteeism, lateness, leaving early, skipping classes, and staying up late at night while surfing the Internet. Most of the problems that often occur among girls are trivial conflicts, but if they are not discovered in time, they can be resolved immediately. Dealing with it can also lead to heated arguments and conflicts. Moreover, once a gap is formed between girls, it is easy to hold grudges in their hearts and it is not easy to eliminate them in a short period of time. This requires active guidance and timely resolution of conflicts. In short, to do a good job as a college counselor, you must learn by doing and learn by doing. The second thing is to understand fraternity. I started my work on the day when new students checked in. I carefully checked the files of each new student, learned as much as possible about their family situation, remembered their names, and carefully recorded them in detail in my work notes. , strive to ensure that new students can tell their name and the school they graduated from when they register. Because I know that when I meet these students, if I can call them by name immediately and talk to them about their hometown, I can quickly get closer to them and have a good communication, which will be very good. of managing them. The students in my class come from all over the province, with different customs, living habits, and family education backgrounds. Moreover, the level of the school determines that the admission scores of these students will not be too high, but I think we We can't just focus on the shortcomings of students' low academic performance. We should be good at digging and discovering their shining points. They need more care, because they may have heard more criticism than care and praise before. This is not only in school, but also in schools. The same may be true at home, which requires us to create a good learning and growth environment for them. Only by caring for them can we discover their simplicity and shining ideological and moral character. Only by correcting our own attitudes can we truly care for our students, and the relationship between students and college counselors and teachers can be harmonious. The third thing is to know how to manage. The work of a college counselor is a thousand words, but in the end it still has to be implemented in management. In terms of student management, I adopt a management model that combines institutionalization, standardization, and scientific management, and add humanized management into practice. I learned more about the students in the class through military training. In such group activities, it is easy to see the basic qualities of a student. After returning from the National Day holiday, the freshmen officially started their college life. In order to enable them to adapt to college life more quickly, cultivate their independent abilities, and study and live better, in addition to regular class meetings, I Every once in a while, a theme class meeting is held in the class, allowing students to discuss what it means to be a real college student, how to better learn knowledge and exercise their abilities in college. This has a very good effect. Some classmates told me that after every discussion, the topic of their bedtime talk before going to bed at night must have just been discussed. Sometimes some students in the class make mistakes, which I think are very representative, so I initiate a discussion in the class and ask the students to understand what is right and wrong by themselves. For example: some students like to surf the Internet, so I asked the students to organize a debate competition to discuss the pros and cons of surfing the Internet. Finally, I came to the conclusion that the Internet should be used in a moderate manner, which means that it does not affect one's study and does not harm one's health. So from now on, most students can restrain themselves and surf the Internet on weekends, instead of going to Internet cafes to stay up all night playing games online whenever they have time.

The problem of students’ evening self-study is a problem I encountered in my work. At the beginning, some students did not understand our school’s self-study method of stipulating time and place. They always thought that they should be free after going to college. Yes, you can study in the classroom or in other places such as the library. Other students are not used to this way of studying together with many people. The learning environment of studying together in the evening is noisy and they are not willing to study in the evening. By talking to them, I let them understand the importance of evening self-study, which can not only deepen the emotional exchanges between classmates, but also cultivate the collective consciousness of the students. I require them to insist on evening self-study, and students can slowly accept it.

But in the middle of this semester, I discovered another problem. The number of people who study in the evening can be guaranteed, but how much knowledge do students learn in the two hours of self-study in the evening? Through communication with class cadres and some classmates, we found that there are very few students who really don’t want to study. However, these few people have influenced some students who have weak self-control, making them not want to study. They chat, use mobile phones to surf the Internet, etc. during evening self-study. In response to this situation, I gave the class cadres of the four classes an opinion that rules and regulations must be used to manage evening self-study. At the same time, every once in a while, I ask each classmate in the class to write a criticism and suggestion about the work of the class cadres and college counselors, and then collect and organize these criticisms and suggestions, and discuss them with the class cadres. Conduct detailed discussions, deeply reflect on the criticisms raised by classmates, and gradually correct them in future work; adopt valuable suggestions and reasonable opinions put forward by classmates, and try to use them in future work. Although students often say to some teachers to whom they are grateful, you care and help us just like our parents. For some students with good psychological quality or who are very naughty, you may be able to point out something wrong with them directly, and they will be more likely to accept it. My third experience is: let students feel that your care is everywhere.

Although we cannot be around our classmates all the time, you should let them feel that your care is everywhere. In fact, the students we teach have their own characteristics. Some students come here because they did not perform well in the college entrance examination. The students I teach have more or less psychological problems. On the surface, you may not be able to see these problems at all, and even his performance will give you an illusion. For example, he is obviously a person with low self-esteem, but he shows that he is quite arrogant and does not take many things to heart; sometimes he is obviously a lonely and closed person at heart, but he appears to be cheerful. people.
