Outline of Fei Daohua's plot

"Flying Knife Hua" is the stage name of acrobatic artist Hua. His parents died when he was a child. Unable to stand the oppression and abuse of the landlord master Niu Yaozu, he fled his hometown and was adopted by Li Zhongyi, the squad leader of Yisheng class on the tramp, and learned to fly knives.

Hua couldn't bear it any longer, and angrily beat Niu Yaozu. However, Niu Yaozu was outnumbered and Hua was trapped. At the critical moment, Jin Sulan, a tightrope walker of East Asia Daily Chemical Art Troupe, stepped forward and rescued her.

Jin Sulan also left Hankou with the "Lifelong Class" and fell in love with China. "Lifelong Class" lives as an artist in the streets and alleys of Sichuan mainland. The squad leader was ill, and Hua sold his flying knife to his master to treat the disease. The acrobatic class is on the verge of dissolution. To this end, Su Lan exchanged her earrings for a flying knife to reunite the acrobatic class.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the "life partner" returned to Hankou, and Shao Jie married Su Lan. At this point, Niu Yaozu has transformed himself into the detective director of the Kuomintang. He detained all the artists in the "Yisheng Class" in a high position, and the monitor Li Zhongyi died of resentment.

Niu Yaozu became angry from embarrassment and ordered his men to sabotage Shao Jie's performance, and injured the monitor Li Zhongyi and others.

Shao Jie can't stand it. He knocked down the Japanese Hercules who insulted China people on the stage and beat up Niu Yaozu, but he was surrounded by his minions. At the critical moment, Jin Sulan, a girl who performed a tightrope walk in the "Rihua Art Troupe", designed to save him and escape from the tiger's mouth together.
