China Shaanxi Opera Art Festival opens on June 14th.

Shaanxi Opera Activity Preview:

Within 14 days, outstanding troupes from all over the northwest will present 12 outstanding Shaanxi Opera plays (the list of performances is attached) for the vast number of opera fans and fans, and will also hold art exhibitions and other activities. On the evening of June 27th, the closing ceremony of this Shaanxi Opera Art Festival will be held.

The purpose of this art festival is to review and summarize the achievements in the development of Shaanxi Opera, to offer high-level and high-quality fine plays, and to introduce outstanding opera talents.

Excellent troupes from Gansu, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Qinghai and Xining will present 12 outstanding plays with different styles in 14 days, which will be staged in Lanzhou Concert Hall and Jincheng Grand Theatre respectively.

During the art festival, the activities of "Red Light Cavalry" and "Opera on Campus" will be held. Famous opera artists and celebrities will perform in rural areas, communities and schools for the benefit of the people.
