The history and culture of Fengzhen, Xi’an

Our town is an old revolutionary area. During the Anti-Japanese War, 25 sick and injured patients from Shajiabang came to our town to recuperate. Later, the Huaibao detachment of the New Fourth Army was formed to carry out struggles behind enemy lines. , "Su Zhong Daily" and Huazhong Banknote Printing Factory all moved to our town. In April 1943, the Huaiyanbao Office was established in our town. In May, the Baoying County Committee and Baoying County Government of the Communist Party of China were born in our town. The older generation of revolutionaries such as Su Yu and Chen Pixian had fought in Xi'an Feng. There are now more than 30 revolutionary sites and a memorial hall.
