Notice on Standardizing the Wearing of Masks

In order to reduce the risk of infection and guide citizens to protect themselves, the relevant requirements for standardizing the wearing of masks are hereby announced as follows:

1. General public

Scenarios and situations where masks are required

1. When in indoor crowded places such as shopping malls, supermarkets, cinemas, conference venues, exhibition halls, airports, docks and hotel public areas.

2. When taking van elevators and public transportation such as airplanes, trains, ships, long-distance buses, subways, and buses.

3. When in crowded open squares, theaters, parks and other outdoor places.

4. When visiting a hospital, accompanying someone, or undergoing health checks such as body temperature testing, health code verification, and itinerary information registration.

5. When symptoms such as nasopharyngeal discomfort, coughing, sneezing and fever occur.

6. When not eating in restaurants or canteens.

Mask selection:

It is recommended that the public choose disposable medical masks, medical surgical masks or masks with higher protection levels.

2. Personnel in positions with high risk of overseas importation and contamination transmission of key groups

1. Cross-border trucking, train transportation, loading and unloading and other positions.

2. Overseas frozen food processing, storage, loading and unloading, transportation and other cold chain transportation positions.

3. Responsible for driver, flight attendant, cleaner, porter and other positions on inbound flights, trains and cars.

4. Customs staff who supervise inbound and outbound transport vehicles, goods, postal items, etc.

5 Airport, flight and other cleaning staff, baggage handling and other ground staff. Mask selection: It is recommended to wear a particle protective mask at all times during work.

Service personnel in public places

1. Including flight attendants, security personnel, salespersons, conductors, police, chefs, hotel and restaurant waiters, couriers, goods delivery personnel, Doorman, security, cleaning, etc.

2. Staff providing services in nursing homes, nursing homes, welfare homes, prisons and other institutions. Oral mask selection: It is recommended to wear disposable medical masks, medical surgical oral masks or above protection level masks at all times during work.

On-campus personnel

3. Special circumstances

IV. Standard requirements for wearing masks

1. Wear the mask correctly, ensuring that the mask covers the mouth, nose and chin, and the nose clip should be pressed tightly.

2. The mask must be replaced in time when it becomes dirty, deformed, damaged or smells bad. The cumulative wearing time of each mask should not exceed 8 hours.

3. It is not recommended to reuse masks that have been used on cross-regional public transportation or in hospitals and other environments.

4. Masks that need to be reused should be hung in a clean, dry, and ventilated place when not in use.

5. If you feel suffocated, short of breath or other discomfort while wearing a mask, you should immediately go to an open and ventilated place to remove the mask.

6. Carry spare masks when going out and store them in the original packaging bag or a clean storage bag to avoid extrusion and deformation. Waste masks should be disposed of as other garbage.

7. It is recommended that families keep a small amount of particulate protective masks and medical protective masks as backup.
