The damaged area of Li Bai's former residence scenic spot reached 6.5438+0.66 million square meters, and the building and infrastructure of Li Bai Memorial Hall were damaged to varying degrees. In order to reappear Li Bai's former residence in front of the world as soon as possible, Henan Province supports the restoration and reconstruction of Jiangyou. The nature of the Li Bai Memorial Hall project is "reconstruction" and its content is complicated. The nature of the restoration project of Li Bai's former residence is the "restoration" of cultural relics buildings, mainly to restore the cultural relics buildings damaged by the earthquake, and there is no need to re-plan and design the cultural relics buildings damaged by the earthquake.

The reconstruction of Li Bai's former residence includes: building and fence maintenance of Taibai Temple, Longxi Courtyard, Fenzhu Building, Mingxian Temple and other cultural relics protection units, internal infrastructure construction, landscaping and exhibition upgrading, maintenance and addition of Taibai Building, Qingfeng Yuemingyuan Garden, square, landscaping, infrastructure, sound and light facilities, antique buildings of Taibai historic forest, maintenance and reinforcement of Dezheng Square in Niuxueqiao and improvement of surrounding environment.

The aid project of Li Bai's former residence covers a total area of 75,800 square meters, with a building area of 894 1 square meter. The main contents of the reconstruction of Li Bai Memorial Hall include: the repair, maintenance and reinforcement works of the gate, hometown and cloister, Huaihe cloister, Taibai Bookstore, the first showroom, the second showroom, Jixiuyuan, Li Bai Research Museum, Mingyue Village, the third toilet and Xiaoyazhai; Reconstruction projects of Xiangyun, Huayu, Taibai Hall, Teachers College (boutique showroom), Linjiang Fairy Hall and Promenade, Tingtaoxuan and Promenade, Wenshui Pavilion and Promenade; Demolition project of office compound (next to Taibai Bookstore); Statues of Li Dutai, Du Fu Pavilion (Poetry Hall) and Du Fu, newly-built studios and two toilets (4A level), and renovation and upgrading projects such as infrastructure, sound and light facilities, public service facilities and landscaping.

Among them, the gate covers an area of 130 square meters, with the top of the Tang Dynasty-style gray tile hill, which is rectangular in plane, 5 rooms wide and 2 rooms deep, with 3 columns, and the total height of the building is 8 meters; Taibai Hall behind the gate covers an area of 625 square meters, imitating the Tang-style double-eaved sloping mountain grey tile roof, with a rectangular plane, 5 rooms wide, 4 rooms deep and 5 columns, with a total building height of 14.5 meters. The Dufu Hall behind Taibai Temple is a newly-built building, covering an area of 426 square meters, with a single-eaved rest peak imitating the Tang style at the top, and a gray tile roof hanging down from the mountain in front and near the Changming River. The plane of the main building is rectangular, with 5 rooms wide and 6 rows deep, with a total height of 8.27 meters. Linjiang Xianting, at the northernmost end of the memorial hall, covers an area of 385 square meters, with a two-story pavilion-style gray tile roof and a Tang-style double eaves. Boutique showroom, affiliated showroom and cultural relics warehouse are located at the right rear of Taibai Bookstore. They are newly-built buildings, covering an area of 900 square meters, with a rectangular plane, imitating the Tang-style single-eaved hanging mountain with grey tile roof.

Many ancient buildings in Li Bai's former residence are mostly wooden structures. Sichuan has a humid climate and abundant rainfall, which is suitable for the growth and reproduction of termites. More than 85% of the scenic spots and historical sites are endangered by ants. After the "5. 12" earthquake, the ancient buildings of Li Bai's former residence were destroyed by termites by more than 90%. For example, the gates of Mingxian Temple and Taibai Temple in Qing Dynasty were all made of wood. In the process of construction, the repairman found that the wooden component looked good on the outside, but it was empty inside, and it would rot if touched.

In order to keep the original appearance of ancient buildings and retain the original building materials to the maximum extent, all wooden components that have not been seriously damaged by termites should be used as much as possible when repairing. In order to prevent termites from rotting again, all used wood blocks should be soaked in a special disinfection pool. After soaking, the surface should be coated with preservatives, tung oil and paint ... all wooden components with serious termite decay should be treated with special technology. For example, the two eaves columns of the gate of Taibai Temple in Qing Dynasty were hollowed out by termites and could not be reused, so the builders sawed off the rotten parts, used the same wood for moth-proofing and disinfection, connected them with "healthy" columns, fixed them with mortise and tenon structures, reinforced them with iron hoops, and finally made anti-corrosion and insect-proof treatment on the appearance.

The rebuilt former residence of Li Bai not only shows the ancient buildings such as Taibai Pagoda, Taibai Temple, Taibai Forest of Steles and Longxi Courtyard damaged by the earthquake in a pure architectural style of the Tang Dynasty, but also expands the scale of scenic spots, including 16 groups of sculpture sketches, invitation tables and other scenic spots.

The rebuilt Li Bai Memorial Hall, from the gate to the internal building, pursues the garden style of the Tang Dynasty and "carries tang style to the end". The Taibai Guild Hall, Taibai Bookstore, showroom and other buildings destroyed by the earthquake stood up one by one. The gate of the memorial hall is 8 meters high, with a gray tile roof in the Tang dynasty style, which is magnificent. Taibai Hall is full of Tang rhyme, and the two-story attic-style building adopts partition doors and straight-sided windows, which is unique from the whole to the details. In the newly added Du Fu Hall in the memorial hall, the newly completed statue of Du Fu is far from the statue of Li Bai in Taibai Hall, which has become the biggest highlight in the museum.
