History of Chongqing Orthopedic Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Chongqing Orthopaedic Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1958. Its main founder is a well-known domestic orthopedic expert and martial arts family who gathered in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War. After more than 40 years of development, Chongqing Orthopedic Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is now a second-class and first-class orthopedic hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, and it is a well-known orthopedic hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in China, with outstanding specialty advantages.

In the long-term development process, the academic thought of "Yuzhou bonesetting" with strong regional characteristics and its unique diagnosis and treatment system have been bred, which enjoys a high reputation in society. In September, 2002, the hospital was approved by state administration of traditional chinese medicine as the national key construction unit of orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine. At present, the hospital has 45 senior professional titles and 76 intermediate professional titles, including experts who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council 1 person, academic experience inheritance tutors of famous old Chinese medicine in China 1 person, and 2 academic experience inheritance tutors of famous old Chinese medicine in Chongqing.
