Let me briefly introduce Pingtan Strait Bridge, which is an important section of newly-built Fuping Railway and Changle-Pingtan Expressway. At the same time, it is an extension of Hefei-Fuzhou Railway and an important part of Beijing-Fuzhou Passage. According to the national plan, it is planned to build a "Beijing-Taiwan high-speed railway".

Pingtan County is located on the west bank of Taiwan Province Strait, only 68 nautical miles away from hsinchu city, Taiwan Province Province, China. The total length of the bridge is16.34km, and there are three cable-stayed main waterway bridges with twin towers, namely Justin Waterway, Guyumen Waterway and Daxiaolian Waterway. It is the world's longest cross-strait highway-rail bridge. The lower layer of the bridge is designed as a two-lane first-class railway with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and the upper layer is designed as a six-lane expressway with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. After the completion of Pingtan Strait Highway-Railway Bridge, the distance from Fuzhou to Pingtan will be greatly shortened. After opening to traffic, Fuzhou and Pingtan only need half an hour to "live in the economic circle". At the same time, the construction of the bridge can provide reliable experience for the construction of the highway-railway dual-purpose bridge from Xuwen, Zhanjiang to Haikou, Hainan in Qiongzhou Strait.
