Municipal construction of Dashi, Panyu

The water conservancy embankment and Dashi sluice along Yanjiang Middle Road are constructed according to the once-in-a-century standard, and the embankments are all built as cement reinforced concrete structures.

The entire street has invested 13.4 million yuan in health activities, and the village (community) has invested nearly 7 million yuan; 314 additional cleaning staff have been hired. The awareness of civilization in the whole street has been continuously strengthened, and the cleaning level has been comprehensively improved. Mengyong Village, Yongkou Village, Beilian Village, and Shanxi Village have been rated as health villages in Guangdong Province. Four villages, Dashan Village, Huijiang Village, Shenchun Village, and Donglian Village, have been rated as health villages in Guangdong Province. It was rated as a health village in Guangzhou, and Dashi Primary School and Zhixin Middle School were awarded the title of Guangzhou Patriotic Health Model Unit.

The college entrance examination scores exceeded the college entrance examination expectations set by Guangzhou City, and the high school entrance examination scores were 8.8 points higher than the Panyu District average and 45.3 points higher than the Guangzhou city average; 9 out of 10 primary schools reached the level of excellent teaching quality , 1 is the standard grade.

Administrative Village Selection

Huijiang Village is located southwest of Dashi Street, connected to the stone wall of Zhongcun to the west, with Shibei Avenue and Dongxin Expressway running through the north and west of the village respectively. To the north of the village is the paddy field of the Pearl River system, and to the south of the village is the low hilly platform. The village has 575 households, a permanent population of 2,032, and a floating population of about 25,000. The main source of the collective economy is leasing land, factories, and shops. Most of the Shibei Industrial Cluster is located within the village. In 2007, the village achieved a total output value of 1.093 billion yuan, a collective economic net income of 9.84 million yuan, and the year-end share distribution per villager was 6,500 yuan. In 2007, it was rated as "Guangzhou Health Village".
