Campus environment of Shanxi University

Wucheng Campus of Shanxi University covers an area of 2,45 mu, with a construction area of nearly 1.1 million square meters. The school is divided into a northern area with traditional architecture and a southern area with modern architecture. It was named as "Garden Unit", "Green School" and "Forestry Ecological School" by the Shanxi provincial government. Campus landscape:

1. Location: west of Laofeng Village, north of gangtou, and east of Dongshan Transit Expressway, the new campus will be built.

2. The planned total construction area of the school is 96, square meters. It will be built in three phases. The first phase will complete the construction area of about 4, square meters in 214 -216. The second phase covers a construction area of about 4, square meters from 217 to 219, and the third phase covers the remaining projects from 22 to 222. The main construction contents include: teaching, experimental practice and training, ancillary buildings, libraries, stadiums, halls, student dormitories (apartments), canteens, logistics ancillary buildings and outdoor facilities supporting projects (excluding staff houses). After the project is completed, about 3, students can study and live.

3. The total investment of the project is 5.7 billion yuan (excluding land-related expenses). The source of funds is from land disposal in the old campus, government investment, application for bank loans, self-financing by the school and social investment.
