Luoding, located in the west of Guangdong Province, is one of the 50 mountainous counties (cities) in the province and the first batch of historical and cultural cities in Guangdong Province. The city covers a total area of 2327.5 square kilometers, with 2 1 town and a total population of10.09 million. The built-up area of the central city is 1.9 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 240,000. Longshui County was promoted to Luoding Zhili Prefecture in the fifth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1577), and governed Dong 'an and Xining (now Yuncheng, Yun 'an and Yunan). After the Revolution of 1911, the abandoned state was renamed Luoding County. 1993 On April 8th, the State Council approved the withdrawal of counties and the establishment of cities.
