In my impression, Yancheng is a city with a long history, named after its salt production. It is the largest prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province and has the reputation of "Oriental Wetland Capital". The wetland at the junction of land and sea here provides a good habitat for living things. Walking into this city, you are greeted with the fashionable concept of "micro-city".

"Weibo", "WeChat", "micro-lesson" and "micro-movie" have penetrated into our lives, and "micro-city" is the first time for me. With the rapid development of society, it is now a "micro era".

What is a "micro city"?

In the past urban construction, the living area and the working area were often separated, which led to the pendulum migration of urban population every day and greatly wasted social resources. In 2008, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development put forward the development concept of integration of production and city and balance of occupation and residence, demanding to solve the coordination problem between urban residence and work within 10 minute walking distance.

With the development of smart cities in China, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development strives to find an innovative development model to make the distribution of urban spatial resources more reasonable. 20 13 draws lessons from the successful case of urban planning and development, a research achievement of MIT, a world-renowned university, and puts forward a pilot project of "micro-city" construction in China.

"Micro-city" is an all-round innovation and upgrading of smart cities, which advocates people-oriented and pays attention to people's feelings about modern urban development. It emphasizes the sustainable development of cities and the needs of urban transformation, integrates existing resources based on the reality of urban construction, and is a new urban development model that conforms to the concept of national new city. "Micro-cities" cover 3-3, with a radius of 10 minute walking distance (i.e. 1 km).

"Micro-city" realizes the organic integration of urban functional space by establishing a balanced development system of green travel, complex functions and intensive space, and integrates the functions of residence, employment, transportation, culture, leisure and commerce into "micro-city" by intelligent means, so that residents can experience one-stop services such as work, life, entertainment and consumption, and form a micro-circulation of urban functions such as people flow, logistics, information flow, vehicle flow and capital flow.

Therefore, under such a design concept, in May of 20 14, Chengnan New District and China Urban Science Research Association of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development formally signed a contract in Yancheng to promote the pilot work of "micro-cities". As a result, Chengnan New District officially launched the first pilot project of "micro-city" construction in China.

The pilot project of "micro-city" in Chengnan New District has a planned layout of "one big and two small". "One big", that is, the micro-city of Julong Lake. "Two small", namely Xinlong Square and Wisdom Valley Weicheng.

Julong Lake is the administrative center, cultural center and commercial center of Yancheng, with beautiful ecological environment, gathering high-end business office, leisure and entertainment, living and living, high-quality infrastructure and public resources, forming a strong core circle effect of Julong Lake.

Build a "micro-city" development model around 4 square kilometers of Julong Lake, and build a national "micro-city" development model to provide exchanges and reference for the sustainable development of cities across the country. Xinlong Plaza E-commerce Industrial Park and Smart Valley are important carriers for Yancheng to develop smart industries, which bring together major smart industry projects in the metropolitan area, and the "two small" micro-city projects are carried out simultaneously.

In this golden autumn season, I walked into the micro-city of Julong Lake.

The discovery of the micro-city of Julong Lake was accidental. On the way to Yancheng Museum, I met a family of three on vacation and chatted with them. Knowing that the night view of Julong Lake is beautiful, they often go there. Julong Lake left a mark on my mind.

Walking on the road in the southern new area of Yancheng, I felt a sense of freshness. Camphor tree and Luan tree are the main street trees. The fruit of Luan tree fell with the wind and scattered on the lawn beside the sidewalk, like a butterfly pouncing on the grass. The Luan trees here are brighter than those in the north, as if they had just been washed. Although Yancheng is far from the coastline, the air is still filled with the smell of the sea, salty and fresh, which is blown by the wind. I like the smell. It evokes my memory.

Another characteristic vegetation in Yancheng is Puwei. The first time I saw it was in the square green space in front of the city government. A bunch of Phragmites australis stands in the middle of the grass, and the white catkins on the branches sway in the wind.

Yancheng Third People's Hospital is the affiliated hospital of Southeast University, located in the northwest corner of Xindu Road and Jiefang South Road. The brand-new outpatient building has many floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which complement the sky. That clump of reeds stood at the entrance of the hospital, and its tidbits fluttered with the wind, as if to soothe the anxious hearts of patients. Occasionally someone walks out of the hospital. I can't resist seeing it. Worry-free, the outpatient hall on the first floor is bright, and there are not many people at the registration payment office, unlike the hospital in Xi' an. I asked the staff at the information desk, and they told me that today is a holiday and there are very few people, even on weekdays. Indeed, such a density of visits is quite appropriate, so that doctors can treat patients carefully and calmly.

Coming out of the hospital, I saw a European-style two-story building across the street. The whole building is beige, with a circular dome at the top of the main building and a18th century sculpture in front. There are annex buildings on both sides of the main building, and there are steps leading to the building. There are several cars parked in a wide field in front of the building, which looks like a palace from a distance. On closer inspection, it turned out to be Li Bihua Manor, an elegant and luxurious hotel. The lawn of the hotel is as flat as a carpet and green as grass. When you come to its hotel, you feel like an aristocrat.

Bypass the hotel and come to Jiefang South Road. Yancheng Museum is nearby. Golden Eagle Shopping Center is located in the southeast corner of Jiefang South Road and Xindu Road. This is the main shopping mall in Chengnan New District. There are supermarkets and restaurants on the first floor. 1~6 floors are shopping malls. There is also a Golden Eagle Shopping Center in the old city of Yancheng, which is bigger than here.

Behind the Golden Eagle Shopping Center is Julong Lake Park. The sidewalks around the park are brand-new plastic runways. It feels great to walk.

The river flows around the park, and weeping willows are dense by the river. It seems that after many years, willows are floating in the wind, like a beautiful woman's long hair.

The river is full of aquatic plants, although it is dense, but there is no unpleasant smell of water blooms, and the water is extremely clear. This scene reminds me of Xu Zhimo's Farewell to Cambridge.

The aquatic plants in this river are as striking as those in He Kang River. Why are the willows on the shore and the grass under the water so lush?

There are many such rivers in Yancheng. I don't know their names. They should be tributaries of the Chuanchang River. There is also a small river around the newly-built municipal government, like a jade belt tied around the waist. I have seen the layout of some ancient official residences, battlements and courtyards. Some are exquisite, and clear rivers often flow slowly. It is said that this is a good feng shui layout. Jingmei water and fertilizer, everything is smart, and naturally it is good feng shui.

Cross the bridge and enter Julong Lake Park. This is an open park across a river from the market. There are one or two tea rooms in my path has wound, through a sheltered hollow, with bamboo sticking out from the wall. The main body of the park is Julong Lake, and the trestle meanders from one side of the lake to the other. The lake is full of waves. A small wooden boat docked on the shore, loaded with aquatic plants caught from the lake, including black algae and Ceratophyllum ... these are excellent materials for students to observe chloroplast experiments, and I really want to take some back.

Looking at Julong Lake, you can see all kinds of modern buildings around. Radio and TV Tower is like a rocket pointing to the blue sky, which is a landmark of Yancheng. The gray-blue shell, sparkling, seems to absorb the light from the sky.

Yancheng Song and Dance Theatre and TV Tower live next to each other, like a huge cylindrical crown, and the windows on each floor are arranged in a chessboard shape, like the pattern on the crown.

Yancheng Science and Technology Museum is located in the north of Julong Lake, and Xindu Road passes in front of the museum. The main body of the museum is cylindrical and hidden in a clump of green.

Yancheng Du Yan Taxation Bureau is also nearby, and its architectural modeling is also very beautiful geometric modeling.

In the east of Julong Lake, there are rows of newly-built commercial and residential buildings and rows of beige high-rise buildings. European Style Street is near the building.

Standing on the pier in the lake, you can see the Golden Eagle Shopping Center, TV Tower, Opera House, Tax Bureau, Science and Technology Museum, Commercial and Residential Building ... These modern buildings seem to float on the sparkling water, and their reflections fall into the water, which really feels like being in modern Venice.

There are some fountains in the lake, which will release beautiful water mist after nightfall. It is said that the night view of Julong Lake is more beautiful and attractive. Please come and see it next time.

Walking through the trestle, I came to the lake. Wide lotus leaves stand in the water. When I was in college, Baguan Mountain on campus was covered with Coreopsis, and the flowering period was very long. From late spring to late autumn, yellow flowers never stop. Girls in our dormitory often take them off and put them in bottles, or weave garlands to hang on the bedside. Every time I see Coreopsis, I seem to see Fan, wearing a white shirt and a green ribbon skirt, with flowing long hair dancing lightly, coming to me from the depths of the flower path, and the laughter and laughter of youth are scattered in this flower sea ... The park also has WiFi coverage. Pass through Du Yan Park, opposite Yancheng Botanical Garden. There is a pond deep along the plastic path. Lotus leaves stand on one side of the pond, and other emergent plants also rely on Chi Pan. Compared with botanical gardens in other cities, it still needs to be developed. The park is surrounded by high-rise residential buildings. It only takes a few minutes for residents to come here for a walk.

Walk in the "micro-city" of Julong Lake, visit Yancheng Museum, observe the Third People's Hospital of Yancheng City, visit the shopping center, visit Julong Lake Park, stroll the European style street, stroll the botanical garden in the drizzle ... and experience the life of "micro-city". Indeed, people in "mini-cities" work, shop, live, relax, culture and entertain in a very small area, which is compact and not congested. BRT, bus and bicycle shuttle in an orderly way, and people, logistics and information flow cycle. Microcirculation is the root of macrocirculation. When the roots of every city move, it is a lively city. The ancient Yancheng has experienced the changes of the times, and now it has entered the era of "micro-city".
