Brief introduction of Poyang Lake ecological wetland

Poyang Lake wetland system refers to the area where the Yangtze River and land have shallow water or excessively wet soil all the year round. The word wetland first appeared in 1956 Announcement No.39 of the US Fish and Wildlife Administration, which defined wetland as "land covered by intermittent or permanent shallow water". Poyang Lake wetland is a special ecosystem, different from terrestrial ecosystem and aquatic ecosystem, and it is a transitional ecosystem between them. Mr. Zhang, a famous scholar, said: "Poyang Lake ecological wetland is the lung of the climate in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River."
