Who will eat the first crab that "turns from drought to water"? 1982 in the spring, when the task of early breeding and sparse planting of rice fell on my head, I knew the risks, and I knew that the success of the experiment was closely related to my own honor and disgrace. However, I know more about the significance of dry cultivation and sparse planting of rice as a technological revolution in the history of rice cultivation to the development of a rice industry and the increase of farmers' income. "Life and death in the country is selfish, don't escape because of misfortune." I accepted the task bravely.

It's easier said than done. An experiment of developing rice dry farming and sparse planting technology can be described as "poor and white", and my technical data is only one and a half pages of simple technical operation procedures, so it is difficult for a clever woman to cook without rice! Faced with deep-rooted traditional experience and almost zero technical foundation, I realized that there is no shortcut on the road ahead, only to keep exploring and learning. I plunged into the experimental field, worked at sunrise and rested at sunset, caring for the 30-mu experimental field like a baby. When I encounter technical problems, I ride my bike to the surrounding farms to consult experts. During the half year from seedling raising to harvest, I consulted many technical experts, farmers and peers, and the distance I have traveled is incalculable. During that time, I smashed two pairs of bicycle tires, turned over three books on rice cultivation and made six notes, turning one and a half pages of "humble information" into more than 50 pages of complete standardization of rice dry cultivation. Heaven rewards diligence and strives for fruitful results. The 30-mu demonstration field achieved a yield of 478 kilograms per mu, and the experiment of rice dry cultivation and sparse planting was a great success in a certain place for the first time. In contrast, I lost nearly 5 kilograms when I was strong. Looking at my black and thin appearance, my mother burst into tears with distress. Regardless of her age, she personally boiled some eggs for me and said, "This is a family egg in the countryside. Take some tonic! "

No pains, no gains. In the second year, rice planting in Xi 'an Town successfully achieved great development, which directly promoted rice production in the city. A project of "controlling waterlogging with rice" began to be fully implemented, and nearly one-third of the low-lying land in the city changed from drought to water, becoming a high-yield field for drought and waterlogging. In the past 20 years, the rice production in a city has grown from scratch, the area has grown from scratch, the scale has grown from small to large, the industry has grown from weak to strong, and the quality has improved from poor to excellent. The area has grown to 360,000 mu today, reaching the peak of 600,000 mu. Rice has become one of the four major crops in our city. This year, the city's total rice output reached 210.2 million tons, and farmers realized sales income of 320 million yuan. A rice industry group, with two green food logos of "Zhu Sheng" and "yunzhu" as the main brands and Jiuo rice as the leading brand, is integrating a rice industry and unifying the brand of "A certain rice", and a certain rice will sell well all over the country. I put the ideological problems and practical difficulties of cadres and workers in my heart and hands, relieve their worries and ensure that they devote themselves to their work. Subsequently, I coordinated and helped Lao Song solve the student loan. The two children wrote in their diaries: Just for Uncle Xiao and the uncles and aunts of the Agriculture Committee, we should also study hard and do something in the future to repay our hometown elders. Today, Lao Song's eldest son is a graduate student at Beijing Institute of Technology, and has been rated as "an outstanding college student in Beijing". His second son is studying at Harbin Institute of Technology and has been recommended as a graduate student. The Huaguoshan fruit tree demonstration field under the Agriculture Committee has been built for more than 50 years, and the drinking water problem has not been solved. In my first year in office, I led the team members to work in Huaguoshan, and personally coordinated 60,000 yuan to install tap water for the farm, so that nearly 600 people from farm 168 households ended the history of carrying water down the mountain for more than 50 years. On the day of water supply, there was a celebration scene that had not been seen for many years. The workers set off firecrackers, and an old worker took the lead in shouting the slogan "Long live the party" with tears in his eyes. Adhere to the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality in the selection, appointment, assessment and reward of cadres. Over the past few years, more than 20 cadres have been promoted, more than 200 people have been rewarded at all levels, and 13 comrades have been approved to join the party organization, which has been unanimously recognized by the comrades of the whole Committee. After the merger, there are more than 10 subordinate enterprises of the Agricultural Committee, which have serious historical debts and become a heavy burden for the development of the new Agricultural Committee. After in-depth investigation, I led the team members to adjust the two enterprise teams of fruit tree demonstration field and auspicious seed field. Four enterprises, including agricultural machinery repair shop, merged and reorganized according to the unified deployment of the municipal government, and the problems left over by these six enterprises for many years were completely solved. In particular, the problem of solving difficulties and development of seed companies was carefully studied, the crux of the problem was identified, and with the support of relevant municipal leaders, new ideas for the reform and development of seed companies were formulated. In just two years, we solved the debt, unloaded the burden and won the project. All the historical debts of more than 23 million yuan were cancelled, and 7 1 laid-off workers were properly placed. Promoting agriculture through science and technology and increasing income

Without the progress of agricultural science and technology, there will be no poverty alleviation for farmers. Working in the front line of agricultural technology extension for more than 20 years, I deeply realized the importance of getting rich through science and technology. At the beginning of my tenure, I took strengthening agricultural science and technology training as the "bull's nose" of agricultural work and held it tightly in my hand. Every winter, various popular science winter and agricultural science and technology activities are organized to make farmers change "winter leisure" into "winter busy". In recent years, our city has held more than 600 training courses in various forms every year, with about 65,438+10,000 trainees. As a senior agronomist, I took the lead in teaching on stage and taught farmers all kinds of knowledge of getting rich through science and technology. Books and materials, such as Practical Handbook of Agricultural Technology in a City and Book of Getting Rich, were compiled and distributed to farmers, who regarded them as "the true book of getting rich", and farmers had textbooks for getting rich. In the aspect of agricultural technology audio-visual education, I presided over the planning to open a column of "Agricultural Science and Technology Park" in the city TV station to publicize the information of getting rich through science and technology. In 2004, with the support of the municipal party committee and municipal government, I joined hands with the municipal TV station to set up the first county-level agricultural special program "Guide to Agriculture, Countryside and Peasants" broadcast throughout the year in our province, and launched the "three stresses and one release", which was warmly welcomed by grassroots cadres and farmers in the city.

Especially this year, after inspection, Minister Du Qinglin thought that a demonstration park was large in scale, high in standard, rich in content and good in demonstration effect, and immediately decided to hold a national agricultural standardization work conference in this city, and made a field visit to a standardized demonstration park. Today, the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology in Angola has reached more than 50%, ranking first in the province.

For farmers, I love them as much as black land. As the first person responsible for the comprehensive administrative law enforcement of agricultural work, I often say two words to the employees of the unit: farmers are not rich, and it is our duty to help them get rich. Anyone who wants to be sorry and hurt farmers, I will smash their jobs. Every March, I lead law enforcement officers to carry out a major inspection of the agricultural resources market in the city, and go to the front line to investigate and deal with cases of illegal reselling of seeds, pesticides and fertilizers, and make timely adjustments to incompetent agricultural resources law enforcement officers. In 2003, I personally led a team to catch a dealer dealing in fake and shoddy pesticides. Before the case was settled here, a group of intercessors came up there, including my old leaders and colleagues, and I did not hesitate to push them back. In desperation, the dealer came to my house with money to plead, and I sternly refused and criticized him. All the fake and inferior pesticides were confiscated and sent to the designated place for destruction according to the requirements of superiors, which severely punished the dealers and avoided the loss of agricultural production. Over the past few years, we have investigated and dealt with more than 50 cases of pit farmers, effectively cracked down on illegal business operations, standardized a certain agricultural market, safeguarded farmers' interests and ensured the safety of agricultural production. In the work of reducing the burden on farmers, I made every effort to promote the "double openness" of rural management and rural finance and government affairs, and the burden on farmers was effectively controlled. A few years ago, we changed from a county with a heavy burden on farmers to an advanced county in the province.

Serve the public wholeheartedly, remain uncorrupted, and always maintain its advanced nature.

Some people say that I am an expert in competing for projects. I said, anyone can become an expert as long as he has a career, the masses and an open mind. In order to turn a big agricultural city into a strong agricultural city and a rich agricultural city, I have been running around tirelessly over the years, wearing my mouth and running my legs thin, so that all the key agricultural projects invested by various countries and provinces have settled in a certain place. In 2003, a county became one of the eight demonstration counties in the national soybean revitalization plan. In the past three years, the project alone has won the national improved seed subsidy of nearly100000 yuan for farmers. A large number of projects, such as soybean seed breeding, agricultural machinery cooperatives, and ecological home enrichment projects, have become "propellers" to lead a certain agriculture to speed up. I have also become a rich "housekeeper", holding many key projects and funds. But I am so hard on myself that I am mean. I insist that public funds are not wasted. When I go to Beijing to compete for projects, I always try to choose affordable hotels and restaurants. Sometimes, in order to catch up with time, my colleagues and I stay in front of the hotel for dozens of hours, revise the materials according to the requirements of our superiors, take a bite when we are hungry, and take a nap for a while. The waiter was moved and said, "It's rare to see someone who works as hard as you now. I can not help you with anything. Let's boil some more pots of boiling water for you! " Looking back now, although I have made a lot of efforts on the long road to winning projects, I am gratified and practical to see that one project has benefited the people of Chengdu. There are old people at the top and little people at the bottom. Do you still have this home in your heart! " Sitting next to my lover, watching her busy appearance, listening to her intentional or unintentional nagging, I feel guilty and warm in my heart. Last spring, the province held an emergency meeting. As usual, my wife arranged things for me to leave early the next day. In the middle of the night, my lover suddenly fell ill. 120 when the ambulance arrived, she had fainted twice and was unconscious. On the way to the hospital, my lover's hand kept holding me, and I didn't relax for a moment, for fear that I would leave. In September this year, I came back from the province to report the project, and the city leaders asked me to take a day off at home, but I knew it was almost the beet harvest season, and the leaders of Jiashi City were making arrangements for the beet harvest in our city, so I gave up the rare opportunity to rest and devoted myself to my work. Continuous running finally made me tired. One day in late September, I fainted in the office, and my comrades took me to the hospital. The doctor asked me to rest for a while, but it was the busy season of autumn harvest and land preparation. How can I rest? In order not to affect my work, I had an intravenous drip for a long time, pulled out the needle and went back to work. Even one day, because of busy work, I didn't go to the hospital for an injection until after 7 pm. My lover said to me affectionately, "Are you still dying?"? What the hell is this? " I took my lover's hand and said, "I am the son of a farmer and grew up in the countryside." I will never forget the scene when we walked more than ten miles of dirt roads to school in the snow. " What I am doing now is agricultural and rural work, in order to lead a down-to-earth life for the villagers in my hometown. "I know very well that my lover supports this family and supports me. She has paid too much for me. In August this year, my daughter was admitted to Beijing Forestry University with a score of 6 10.
