What is your favorite book?

I have read a lot of miscellaneous books this year, so I just picked a few to talk about.

1. "The 13 Lost Steps"

As a mystery novel, this book is enough. Excellent, the writing is simple, the plot is compact, the logic is clear, various hints, and most importantly, the reversal is just right, making us unable to help but continue reading until we see the truth. It is really worth recommending.

Justice may be late, but it will never be absent. We must always be a kind and brave person!

2. "Judas Window"

A masterpiece by the King of the Chamber.

The story is a game-within-a-game setting, with three layers of logic overlapping. The "cross-examination" in court mode is compact and ups and downs. From the testimony being completely unfavorable to the defendant suddenly surrendering, the story is completely reversed. Push to climax. The motive is simply explained after revealing the technique and summarized in one sentence, which is in line with the common characteristics of the classical style of "light motive".

3. "The Shackles of Humanity"

When I was in high school, I often wrote Maugham into my compositions, and the one I mentioned most often was "The Moon and Sixpence."

This book is a history of growth. I think many people can read about themselves in this book. Whether it is happiness and beauty or pain and regret, it does not matter whether it is good or bad. There are only real facts here. The true nature of life.

This book records Philip's growth process from the age of nine to the age of thirty. Many of them contain things that Maugham personally experienced and experienced. Therefore, it is difficult for readers not to feel the same way. Philip is like Friends who accompany us day and night tell us about the seemingly insignificant laughter, happiness, pain, and regret in life. We only need to listen quietly and savor it carefully.

4. "A Man's Pilgrimage"

5. "When the Human Stars Shine"

6. "The Outsider"

7 ."On the Road"

8."My Hometown and the World"

9."The Choice"

10."The Three-Body Problem"
