Tools must be professional and complete

2 Pressure measurement method

The pressure measurement method is divided into two steps

1. Connect the hot and cold water pipes together with hoses, and blend the hot and cold water together. Become a water pipe. At this time, connect the pressure tester to any water outlet. The pressure pointer at this time is 0;

2. All water pipe passages are welded and sealed before pressure measurement. Block all outlets and close the main water inlet valve;

3. When measuring pressure, keep shaking the jack's pressure rod until the pointer of the pressure gauge points to between 0.9-1.0; at this time The pressure is basically about 3 times the normal water pressure.

Don’t think that the pressure measurement ends here. It must continue for a period of time. Generally, the time for welded pipes such as PPR, aluminum-plastic PPR, steel-plastic PPR and other welded pipes is 30 minutes, which can only be exceeded but not less; aluminum-plastic pipes It's the kind of copper joint, its time is 4 hours; galvanized pipe is also 4 hours.

Every detail must pass the test

Don’t be idle during the pressure test. We need to carefully check each joint and plug. There should be no water seepage at all; because water seepage will affect the pointing of the pressure tester pointer, you must pay attention to every detail and do not let it go. Otherwise, if something goes wrong, you will be the one in trouble.

If the pressure tester does not drop at all within the specified time, or the drop is less than 0.1, it means that the water pipe is good.
