Write it first-Mustang's Arsenal. As far as I'm concerned, I have two cameras, both of which are correct. One is Canon EOS M3, equipped with EF-M 15-45F3.5-6.3 ISTM and EF-M 22 F2.0 lenses.

The other is Canon's EOS R, which is equipped with RF 35 F 1.8, EF50 1.8 STM, EF24- 105 F4, Tuli 16-28 F2.8, Longteng 70-300 F4-5.6. Of course, EOS M3 is also equipped with catch, which can also be used to transfer the following full-body lens.

Of course, these shots of the fuselage are really ridiculous, but Brother Mustang still enjoys it. After all, most of the focus parts are complete.

Second, when you go out with EOS M3, it is relatively easy to choose. If you go out with EOS M3, my favorite lens is 22, because it and M3 are small, so it can be put in the lens bag, which is very important for going out. Because EOS M3 is a half-frame camera, the focal length of 22 is equivalent to 35mm, which can be described as both offensive and defensive and widely used.

Although it is more convenient to choose 15-45 if you are traveling abroad, it is relatively large, and the maximum aperture is only 3.5, which is inconvenient to use when the light is dark.

So if I have to give up one of these two lenses, I will choose the 22 lens with better portability, larger aperture and practical focal length.

Third, when I go out with EOS R, the difficulty of choice appears. If I go out with EOS R, the situation will be much more complicated. As EOS R is Canon's first Quan Huafu mirrorless camera, it is not perfect in some functions, so which lens to take out really depends on many situations.

Then lens EF24- 105 F4 is definitely the first choice, because the focal length covers the wide-angle to the medium-focus, which is convenient for taking photos from different angles at the event site, and both group photos and close-ups are competent.

But the disadvantage is that the aperture is still too small, and it is difficult to get the desired blur effect when shooting people. Moreover, the volume and weight of this lens are still relatively large. Because Mustang bought this lens for 6D and did not upgrade to RF 24- 105 F4 when upgrading from 6D to EOS R, it is still necessary to connect EOS R through the adapter. Therefore, after installing this lens, the weight and volume of the whole camera are quite heavy, and the change of volume makes it difficult to put such a combination even the stabilizer in.

2, if it is macro.

Macro is the favorite theme of Mustang Brother, so Longteng 90 Micro has a high utilization rate in Mustang Brother's hands. Moreover, the imaging quality of Longteng lens is very good, even compared with Canon Budweiser!

Advantages are large aperture, anti-shake, high imaging clarity and macro 1: 1. It is said that there is no weakness in the macro, and it is true. This shot is also Brother Mustang's favorite.

Of course, the disadvantage is fixed focus, 90 is medium focus, and the subject matter suitable for shooting will still be very limited, at least not suitable for taking photos together!

3, if it is a portrait.

Although 90 micro is suitable for portrait shooting, more often, Brother Mustang is willing to take the lens of Longteng 70-300. At the end of 300, although the aperture is small, the blur effect is still very good, and with anti-shake, the film yield is still good.

Of course, there are many shortcomings, such as small aperture, large volume and unsatisfactory focusing speed.

Of course, when taking portraits, I will also bring a small spittoon and reduce the aperture by one or two files, or the one just now!

4. If you are sweeping the street, take a sketch.

Obviously, RF35 is coming out. RF35 has attracted a lot of people's attention since it went on the market. It is considered to be a necessary lens for R series cameras. It has 35mm gold focal length, 1.8 large aperture, 0.5 times macro and anti-shake function. It's really good.

Because of its small size, RF35 is the only RF lens of Mustang Brothers, and it can be connected to EOS R without adapter ring, so it is very portable. With a focal length of 35mm, it is no problem to shoot landscapes, people and portraits, even at macro!

Comparatively speaking, the disadvantages of RF35 lens will be less. Of course, such a size and such a price do not require much imaging quality.

5. If you are shooting scenery.

Natural drawing force 16-28 is the most suitable. Shooting some big scenes, the starry sky is inseparable from this lens, even if you want to shoot a panoramic view, it is no problem. Sharp imaging and large aperture are its advantages, but the disadvantage is more glare.

In addition, because the 4K of EOS R has a cut of 1.7 times, if it is replaced by Tuli 16-28, it can barely be used as a standard zoom lens.

Of course, such a combination, plus the adapter ring, is difficult to get on the stabilizer.

To sum up, if the mustang uses EOS R and only uses one lens regardless of the shooting content, then RF 35 will still be the first choice.

Fourth, about the choice of lens In fact, from the above analysis, it is not a good thing to have too many lenses or even too many lenses, which will make your choice more difficult. Of course, if you are healthy and your camera bag is big enough, you can take all the cameras and all the lenses, but you will lose flexibility. If you go on all day, it is estimated that you will be tired and backache, which is not worth the loss.

Therefore, Brother Mustang also wants to warn you about some precautions in lens selection.

1, although it is said that you get what you pay for, many factors are more important than image quality.

The red circle is definitely better than the non-red circle, and the big ternary is definitely smaller than the ternary. The original factory has a high probability of surpassing the deputy factory. Of course, the premise is sufficient budget.

In addition to the budget, there is also the problem of volume. Many lenses are superimposed for optical effects, and the optical quality is good, but the weight has also gone up. This will make it much less portable when shooting outdoors.

2. When shooting outside, don't take two lenses with you, and don't take three lenses with you.

As mentioned above, it is very important to decide which lens to use according to the content of shooting, and then to consider portability for a long time.

Another point is that we often have to take all possible lenses, which is a heavy burden. In actual shooting, it is also very troublesome to change the lens, and it is more expensive and heavier to bring multiple bodies.

Therefore, Brother Mustang basically goes out in the back, and sets a rule for himself, shooting at most two, unless it is very important.

3, you don't have to use the original lens.

The lenses of the original factory are more expensive, and now the sub-factory is also working hard. For example, Sigma and Longteng have produced many high-quality lenses for Sony. I heard that Sigma will also produce adaptive lenses for Canon on 202 1, which is a great boon for Mustang!

You don't have to buy a brand-new lens.

Lens is very important for photographic equipment. To a certain extent, the lens has a greater influence on the image quality than the fuselage. So when a photographer's level is improved, the lens configuration will tend to be diversified. For example, if he used zoom, he would like the quality of fixed focus, if he used red circle, he would not like the dog's head.

The cost of lens will account for more than half of the whole photographic equipment, so how to save money is very important. The experience of Mustang Brother, the electronic structure of the lens is simple, and the probability of problems is small, which is very suitable for buying second-hand lenses.

5. Look at the lens correctly.
