What is the national wine?

Guo Hou liquor, also called Guo Gui Chen Hou liquor, is a kind of maotai-flavor sorghum liquor. This kind of wine is produced by Guizhou Guogui Chenhou Liquor Co., Ltd., which was founded in the 1980s, formerly known as Renhuai Maotai Brewing Branch and Maotai Guogui Banquet Winery. The national wine is characterized by its outstanding sauce flavor, elegance and delicacy, long aftertaste, and fragrance left in an empty cup. Maotai Town, the core producing area of Maotai-flavor liquor in China, is brewed by using unique natural conditions and Maotai culture. This wine adopts traditional technology and high-quality raw materials, including specially selected Chishui River water source and ancient yellow mud cellar, and is aged and matured in pottery cellar for 5 years. Wine is made from grain fermentation, and its chemical composition is ethanol, which generally contains a small amount of fusel alcohols and esters.
