What are antitoxin and antibiotic respectively?

Antibiotics are drugs that can kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria. It is a chemical substance produced by bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms in order to survive and compete, which can not only ensure their own survival, but also kill or inhibit other bacteria.

Antibodies corresponding to bacterial toxins (usually exotoxins) or immune sera containing such antibodies. It can neutralize the toxic effect of the corresponding exotoxin. After the body is infected by pathogenic bacteria that produce exotoxin, it can produce antitoxin, such as diphtheria, tetanus, gas gangrene and so on. After formaldehyde treatment, exotoxin can lose its toxicity, maintain its antigenicity and become a toxoid.
