Therefore, ASEAN countries have favorable conditions for producing rice and tropical cash crops and planting them in large quantities. Rice can be harvested three times a year, and the rice exports of Thailand and Vietnam often rank first and second in the world. The output and export of ASEAN natural rubber (Malaysia), oil palm (Malaysia), coconut (Philippines) and banana hemp (Indonesia) all rank first in the world.
