I used to practice judo professionally, but later switched to Sanda.

The reason why I changed from a professional judo team to Sanda was to go to college, because there were many schools that wanted Sanda athletes and few in Judo. So the project was changed. The training of the Sanda team is not as intense as that of Judo, which requires more absolute strength and requires high physical fitness. After I switched projects, I found that training in the Sanda team was very easy.

However, there is a very bad phenomenon, that is, my body is very stiff, especially in boxing. Later I found out that this was caused by practicing too much absolute strength in judo. This stiffness problem caused me to It took 2 years for me to change it gradually. Therefore, Judo and Sanda cannot be practiced at the same time. It is easy to fail to practice any event well.

There was a proverb in the past called "Martial arts + wrestling, gods and ghosts cannot escape", which means that if you know martial arts and wrestling, you will be very powerful. However, the "wrestling" referred to here is Chinese wrestling, not judo. Because Chinese wrestling has no ground skills, it loses at three points, and the sleeves of the clothes are short, so the style is very "fast and crisp" compared with Judo. It becomes "sticky" a lot.

Therefore, I suggest that if you practice at the same time, it is best to practice Sanda and Chinese wrestling together, so that you can get twice the result with half the effort by combining them with each other. Chinese wrestling and Sanda are the same in style. They both focus on exerting force quickly and crisply. Within 2 years, you will be quite powerful!
