What does oxycodone mean?

Oxoxetine, also known as Oxoxetine, is a selective serum reuptake inhibitor antidepressant, and its pharmaceutical dosage form is Oxoxetine hydrochloride. Clinically, it is used to treat adult depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and bulimia nervosa, and also used to treat panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

Oxidine is a selective serotonin (5- HT) reuptake inhibitor. By inhibiting the reuptake of neurotransmitter serotonin by nerve synaptic cells, the level of serotonin that can bind to postsynaptic receptors can be increased. For other receptors, such as α-adrenergic, β-adrenergic, 5- hydroxytryptamine and dopaminergic, fluoxetine has almost no binding force.

After oral administration, oxydine is well absorbed from gastrointestinal tract, and its bioavailability is not affected by eating. After absorption, it combines with plasma protein in large quantities and is widely distributed. Steady-state plasma concentration was reached after several weeks. Oxyxetine is basically metabolized by the liver and demethylated to produce norfluoxetine, the active metabolite. The elimination half-life of oxycodone is 4-6 days and that of norfluoxetine is 4- 16 days. It is excreted mainly through the kidneys. Because it can be secreted into breast milk, it is recommended to be cautious when prescribing drugs to pregnant and lactating women.
