Because I was teaching from the sixth grade to the first grade, I had no “baggage” with me and came to the place where I would work for the next year—the first grade office—without any worries. Our office is in Bosi Building, the second building from south to north in the teaching area, the third building from north to south, and the easternmost ground floor. Our first-grade classrooms are from the office to the west, starting from the ground floor, and are the classrooms for Classes 1 to 6. The class I picked up, Class 1, Class 7, is the second room from west to east on the second floor.

My new family

After the classroom introduction, it’s time to introduce my new family. There are 16 members in the first-grade office, including first-grade Chinese and math teachers, plus art and physical education teachers Bao Yingqing, Ji Ye, and Shi Sainan. There are 8 Chinese teachers. Zhu Yaqin from Class 1, Shen Yongjuan from Class 2, Qian Yalu from Class 3, and Chen Liping from Class 5 are all transferred back from the second grade. Teacher Li Xiaoxia of Class 6 comes to teach from Xingren Primary School. Next, let’s talk about the two newly assigned young teachers, Tian Yumeng, the Chinese teacher and head teacher of Class 4, and Yan Ming, the mathematics teacher and head teacher of Class 8. Ms. Wang Li, the Chinese teacher in Class 8, is the only Chinese teacher among us who is not the head teacher. She is slightly older than me and is a good elder sister that I respect. She has won the first prize in the district excellent course competition. She is an excellent Chinese teacher. She is definitely a role model for us to learn from in teaching. I am the class teacher and Chinese teacher of Class 7. Considering my many years of teaching experience in fifth and sixth grades, I am definitely a novice in first-grade work. The mathematics teachers are all veteran teachers with rich experience, and each of them is a top education and teaching expert. They are: Qian Li, the mathematics teacher of Classes 1 and 7, Qian Sujuan, the mathematics teacher of Class 2 and Class 6, Chen Yanhua, a math teacher from Classes 3 and 4, Qin Li, a math teacher from Class 5, and Yan Ming from Class 8.

I will continue to learn from old age, learn work experience and lessons from old teachers, and learn new concepts and techniques from young teachers. Those who are near the water usually get the moon first. Many desks in the office were consciously adjusted to each other. She finished moving her things and thoughtfully helped me clean the tables and chairs. She is the highest among all female teachers in our school, and the second highest in the school except the principal. But she seems to be very troubled by her height. We new "immigrants" had a little time to spare, so we quickly led them to distribute textbooks. Teacher Li works carefully and is responsible for counting the textbooks for each class. Lonely Afternoon

Why use the word loneliness as the title? Because many teachers were almost done with their work in the morning and did not return to school in the afternoon. They were all busy settling their children. Because I was busy in the office at night, I hosted the New Education Joyful Teacher Charity Action. I prepared videos and courseware for the awards ceremony, but I haven’t been able to go to the classroom and office to take a look. Despite this, our subject teachers have not been idle.
